Income and request in hospitals

The aim of this study was to determine the use of PET CT device in the hospital and the demand estimation in the scope of scientific calculations. The scope of the study is the PET CT unit of a private hospital operating in Istanbul. The data are taken from the process performance and Business Development Department of the institution. The information of the department was obtained in consultation with PET CT Unit Manager. In the study of demand forecasting for the PET CT device which is the subject of the study, primarily the capacity and operating degrees of the PET CT device were evaluated according to the status of the labor force. In this respect, transactions made on PET CT device are presented in tables. It is calculated by taking into account conditions such as downtime, downtime, working hours of the workforce and holiday conditions. The use rates for PET CT device were determined and the operating degree was determined in terms of actual capacity and practical capacity ratio. In the scope of capacity requirements for PET CT device, the least squares method (ekky) used frequently in the calculation of health services was used. In the context of the regression model, the graphs of the data were given first and then the model was formed. In total, between 07/2016 – 06/2017 1740 hours, ie 104400 minutes time was worked. As of 07/2013-06/2012, it has been determined that the number of PET CT and total revenue will increase compared to previous years. PET CT adettin 28% compared to the previous period, PET CT revenue is expected to increase by 15%.
