In this study, JP8 fuel used in aircraft and molybden were mixed and used in a dizel engine with injectors. Fuel mixtures were prepared by adding JP8 and molybden at different rates to Euro dizel fuel which is our reference fuel. It is desired to use these fuels in our engine and examine the effect on engine performance, in-cylinder pressure, exhaust gas outlet temprature and brake specific fuel consumptions. The test results obtained were compared with the data found using Euro diesel fuel, which is our reference fuel. It has been observed that the power values of our engine are greater when run with a mixture of JP8 and molybden fuel. In addition, the average fuel consumption was lower in engines operating with JP8 fuel mixture.
