Comparing of job satisfaction among nurses and the factors in the private or state hospitals in urban or rural areas

The aim of this research is to examine and compare the effective factors of job satisfaction among nurses working in private hospitals and training and research hospitals. The survey form, prepared for the purpose was answered by 300 nurses working in two ministerial training and research hospitals and two private hospitals in Kütahya and İstanbul. The datas were gathered by using Personal İnformation Form and Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire and evaluated by SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Sciences) 16 pocket programme. During the evaluation of the study datas, decriptive, statistical methods were used (numbers, percentage, avarage, standard deviation). As hypothesis testing, Student t test, Oneway Anova test, correlation analaysis were practiced. In the consequence of the survey it has been determinated that nurses general job satisfaction is on avarage, their inner job satisfaction is higher than outer job satisfaction's avarage point. Nurses' working in urban areas job satisfaction level is higher than that of in rural areas.
