The study and analysis of the Surah al-Kahf from Hüsameddin Ali Bitlisî's tafsir "Câmi'u't-Tenzîl ve't-Te'vîl"

Husameddin Ali Bitlisî is one of the Sufi commentators of the 15th century. Bitlisî has written many works in the field of tafsir, philosophy and mysticism. "Câmi'u't-Tenzîl ve't-Te'vîl" is the most important and famous of these. This work is a tafsir that explains the Qur'an from the beginning to the end with the Ishârî Tafsir method. The first part of our study deals with the life and works of Bitlisî, and then examines them from the point of view of form and content, based on Surah al-Kahf, its commentary known as "Câmi'u't-Tenzîl ve't-Te'vîl" The second section is devoted to the study of Surat al-Kahf, which is the main theme of the study. Here, Bitlisî's work on the subject is tried to be identified on the basis of the verification (tahkik) methods commonly used. On the other hand, here, the differences in approach that Bitlisî exhibited while interpreting the Surah Al-Kahf with the methods of diraya and riwaya, the various subjects he touched upon and the various sources he referred to are included
