Özet (EN)

In this study, a system consisting of two different materials having cylindrical geometry (such as gun or tank barrel) was investigated in an environment under the effect of internal pressure and temperature. The hybrid system (MFHS) created by metal and functionally graded material (FGM) consists of two interwinted cylinders. It was aimed to find the stress values by creating a mathematical model with the assumption that the system was exposed to internal pressure loading. The solution was made by assuming that the structure created in this system had axial symmetry and that there was only a change in radial direction on cylindrical coordinates. The temperature equations for the system were extracted separately for two different cylinders and the solution was made with the elasticity equations. The effects of FGM parameters on the thermoelastic behavior of the cylindrical structure were mathematically analyzed and evaluated as a specific criterion for optimum design.
