Abstract (EN)

In this study, investigated many items of relatively few different types of two-dimensional rectangular pieces cutting stock problem from main sheet. The study is aimed to maximize the remaining circular piece. In accordance with this purpose two different models are developed. The first model is about cutting pieces from the main sheet with using integer linear programming procedure. This model have been obtained the global optimum results optimization software. The second model is about cutting pieces from the main sheet with using genetic algorithm procedure. This meta-heuristic model have been solved with using MATLAB 7.9.0. software programming. The global results obtained from the optimization program compare with genetic algorithm solutions. Meta-heuristic genetic algorithm is used for the large sample seize problem solving.As a result the developed meta-heuristic method is useful for two-dimensional rectangular cutting problems with the aim of maximum remaining circular piece.
