Study datawere obtained using Sociometric Test, Cohort Belief Scale and Interview Form.As consequences of this study, it was determined that the ideas of students on theirfriends have no correlation with sociometric status and academic achievement. No differencewas found between most and less chosen friends in accordance to sociometric status. Inanother hand, the students were referring good proporties such as; being intelligent, someoneliked, successfull, cheerfull, having abilities for theirselves. No differences were foundbetween successfull and unsuccessfull students on bad and good thoughts towards theirfriends. However, it was determined that successfull students can make friends easly and theirfriendship relations are better relatively.
