Abstract (EN)

This study?s aims are to follow primary school 6th, 7th and 8th class student?s academic achievement grades and Level Determination Exam (SBS) scores changes also whether these two scores predict SBS scores. Study group is consist of 610 students who are took 2008 6th SBS, 2009 7th SBS and 2010 8th SBS in 5 primary schools in Melikgazi district of Kayseri province. SBS total and subtest scores as well as same year?s academic achievement grades for 3 years were analyzed, during analysis two way analyze of variance for repeated measures and Regression analysis on SPSS were conducted.At the end of analysis following results were obtained;1-Total and subtest scores of SBS changes according to class level generally females are more successful. Also 7th class scores lower than 6th and 8th class scores.2-Academic achievement grades ascend according to class level. Females are more successful.3-It has been found that the best predictors of SBS subtest scores are same class?s and same lesson?s academic achievement grades or former SBS subtest scores.
