Determination of primary school teachers? opinions related to levels of integrating technology with teaching-learning process

In this study, primary school teachers? opinions related to levels of integrating technology with teaching-learning process were examined. Accordingly, within the scope of the technology contented courses in the pre-service teacher education, teachers? knowledge and skills must open to developments to meet the needs of the modern education system. The scan model was composed of the 1-5 years tenure primary school teachers and served in 2010-2011 academic year. As data collection tools, personal information form developed by the researcher and ?Determination Scale of primary school teachers? levels of integrating technology with teaching-learning process " were used. At the end of the research, it was stated that teachers have a positive point of view about their levels of integrating technology with teaching-learning process. As it was mentioned that teachers saw themselves in the best level on the use of basic technology sub-dimension, it was stated that effect of the technology contented courses taken in the pre-service teacher education on developing their qualifications of integrating technology with teaching-learning process was less than the effects of the experiments gained during the career. Especially, in the pre-service teacher education it was stated that there were some defectiveness in designing technology contended lesson plans and applying them in the teacher training stage. It was seen that the use of computer, internet, projection and educational software had a positive effect on teachers? opinions about the levels of integrating technology with teaching-learning process. It was stated that in spite of the fact that teachers were aware of advantages of the smart board, one of the new technologies in education; they did not use it in lesson activities.
