The perceptions of education menagers and teachers in regard to aplicability of total quality menagement in primary schools

IIIABSTRACTThis study has been done in order to solve the problem ?How are the perceptions ofeducation menagers and teachers in regard to aplicability of Total Quality Managament inTurkish Primary School??The universe of the research is the education menagers and teacher who are on duty inState Primary School in the centre of Diyarbakır province, in the education year of 2004-2005.Forty four education menagers and nine hunderd ninety-nine teachers constitute the sampling ofthe research. All of the subjects contributed to the study were administered a ?DemograpichInformation Sheet? and ?The Questionnaire of the Aplicability of Total Quality Menagement?which has got forty-three questions. Data were analysed by the 12.0 Windows programme forSPSS (Statical pacgage for the Social Science). We used t-test, variant analiysis (one way) andsheffé test for analysing and interpreteting of data. The level of significance has been taken as0,05.As a summary, at the end of the data analiysis the following results have been obtained:1. According to graduation variant, there has not been found any significant differenceamong the perceptions of the administrators but has been found significant difference among theperceptions of the teachers in regard to applicability of Total Quality Management in PrimarySchool.2. According to the occupation seniorty variant, there has been found significantdifference among the perceptions of the administrators and teachers in regard to applicability ofTotal Quality Management in Primary School.3. According to xnder variant, there has not been found any significant differenceamong the perceptions of the administrators and teachers in regard to applicability of TotalQuality Management in Primary School.4. According to the degree being worked variant, there has not been found anysignificant difference among the perceptions of the teachers in regard to applicability of TotalQuality Management in Primary School.5. There has been found significant difference among the general perceptions of theadministrators and teachers who are working in the primary school in regard to aplicability ofTotal Quality Menagement. The general perception level of the administrators; 3,36 ?medium?degree and the general perception level of the teachers; 2,50 ?little? degree have been found.
