The effect of dramatizasyon used as a teaching strategy on student's performance in teaching geography subjects of primary school's social sciences.

This research was mode to bring up remaining of the effects using with drama method on teaching geography subjects in Social Science lesson. That research, which is suitable for experiment model, was done with 38 students who are educated in Sixth class in Muallim Naci Primary School in Fatih that village of İstanbul in 2006-2007 education year.In the scope of that research the subject, which was chosen, with 19 students who were formed by the control group using with direct teaching method, the other 19 students who were formed experiment group using with drama method was worked in the research process. A knowledge test was prepared to establish the differences of students at the end of the research process by a researcher. Preparing this knowledge test was applied a prior test after the subject was done and the last test to find out the permanent of learning and the level of success each of two groups three weeks later. Also a questionnaire, which was formed 18 question, was applied all students who joined this reseacrh. The questionnaire was prepared by an expert.In the scope of research, datums which was collected and statistical analysises was mode using with SPSS packet programme. The t test practising was made related with differences between the students opinions. About the discoveries was suggested with debating. Comparing prior test and its results, there was an evident learning on the group who were educated using with drama method and the group who were educated using with direct teaching method. This state is necessary for the learning nature. Because when the students come face to face the learning unit, the learning will come true.
