Abstract (EN)

In this study, job satisfaction, life satisfaction and burnout levels of normal primary school classroom teachers and private subclass teachers working in primary schools were compared. The study population of the research was evaluated in 59 primary school special education teachers and 103 primary school teachers working in primary schools affiliated to Ministry of National Education (MONE) in İstanbul Kağıthane district in 2017-2018 academic year. Life satisfaction, Minnesota job satisfaction and Maslach burnout scale were used in the assessment. As a result of the evaluation of the data, it was concluded that some demographic variables were affected by job satisfaction, life satisfaction and burnout level. It has been found that as the life satisfaction of private sub-class teachers increases, job satisfaction increases, emotional exhaustion decreases as life satisfaction increases, and there is a decrease in emotional exhaustion and depersonalization sub-dimension in the burnout level of private sub-class teachers with high job satisfaction. As the life satisfaction of normal primary school classroom teachers increased, there was a decrease in emotional exhaustion dimension, an increase in personal achievement dimension, and a higher level of personal achievement in the burnout sub-dimension of teachers with higher job satisfaction levels. However, there was no statistically significant difference between job satisfaction and life satisfaction of normal primary school classroom teachers. Key Words: private subclass, classroom teacher, job satisfaction, burnout, life satisfaction
