Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to examine the relationships between technological leadership, individual innovativeness, innovation management behaviours and entrepreneurship of primary school administrators, to reveal whether technological leadership has a mediating role and to determine the change of these variables according to various demographic characteristics. Relational survey design, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the study. In line with the aim of the study, research problems were developed in the light of the literature and a theoretical model was designed. In order to test the model, 323 primary school administrators working in Erzincan and Erzurum provinces in the 2023-2024 academic year participated in the study group. Technological Leadership Self-Efficacy Scale of Educational Administrators, Individual Innovativeness Scale, Innovative Behaviour Scale and School Administrator Entrepreneurship Scale were used as data collection tools in the study. Some of the data collection tools were collected face-to-face and some were collected through digital forms. The data obtained were analysed with statistical package programmes. Before analysing the data, the accuracy of the data, missing and outlier values and assumptions of the statistics were examined. The measurement model designed on the basis of the theoretical framework of the research was tested with path analysis, which is an application of the Structural Equation Model. Inferential statistics were used to determine the demographic characteristics of the managers; independent samples t-test, one-factor analysis of variance, and multi-factor analysis of variance were used to determine the differences in the mean scores of technological leadership, individual innovativeness, innovation management and entrepreneurship. In order to determine whether technological leadership has a mediating role, direct, indirect and total effects were determined using Bootstrap analysis. According to the findings, managers' perceptions of technological leadership, individual innovativeness, innovation management and entrepreneurship are at high level; there is a positive, moderate and significant relationship between all of these variables. Technological leadership has a partial mediating role in the prediction of individual innovativeness and innovation management in the prediction of entrepreneurship. In other findings, it was determined that technological leadership, individual innovativeness and entrepreneurship of female managers were higher than male managers, and the mean innovation management of male managers was higher than female managers. It was revealed that the averages of individual innovativeness, innovation management and entrepreneurship of principals were higher than the averages of assistant principals. According to the findings obtained from the research, suggestions for future research and practice were presented.
