Abstract (EN)
In this study, descriptive survey was used to determine the self-efficacy beliefs of primary school teachers towards developing content with Web 2.0 technology tools. With the Scale for Determining Web 2.0 Rapid Content Development Self-Efficacy Beliefs, data were collected about teachers' computer usage levels, internet usage purposes, and their perception levels of self-efficacy beliefs towards developing content with Web 2.0 tools. Differences according to gender, seniority, branch and educational status were investigated. A total of 150 teachers, 85 female and 65 male, from different branches of primary schools in the central districts of Erzurum were the sample group. Mann Whitney U test was performed on the data to investigate the differentiation between gender and self-efficacy beliefs. Kruskall Wallis analysis of variance was used to examine the difference between the general and sub-dimensions of the W2ÖYI scale and other variables. According to the results, teachers generally defined themselves as intermediate level computer users. "Social media and communication" is the most frequently stated purpose of internet use.. It was concluded that self-efficacy beliefs in developing content with Web 2.0 tools did not change according to gender. According to the branches, the self-efficacy perception levels are ranked from high to low as pre-school and English, classroom teaching, special education, and religious culture and moral knowledge branches. It was also found that working years and educational status were effective on self-efficacy perception towards developing content with Web 2.0 tools. It was determined that self-efficacy perception increased as the degree of education increased.
