Examination of the section al-siyām of Qudūrī's al-Tajrīdas an example of'ilm-al-khilāf

Qudūrī, one of the leading figures of the Baghdad ulama, gained a reputation with his work named al-Mukhtasar and demonstrated his competence in the Ḥanafī madhhab. So much so that this work is understood when it is called "book" in the madhhab. In his work called Tajrīd, which he wrote about 'ilm-al-khilāf, Qudūrī dealt with the conflicts between Ḥanafīs and Shāfi'īs in a proven. Thus, he showed that he was extremely knowledgeable in the Shāfi'ī madhhab as well as the Ḥanafī madhhab. Our work on the "Kitāb al-Siyām"madhhabion of the work consists of an introduction and three chapters. In the introduction, the aim, importance and method of the study were touched and contemporary literature was evaluated. In the first chapter, information about 'ilm-al-khilāf and Qudūrī is given, and Tajrīd is introduced at the same time. In the second chapter, thirty-four topics in the al-Siyām" chapter are analyzed. In the third chapter is devoted to the evaluation of the issues analyzed in the second chapter in terms of deduction(istidlal). Thus, by revealing the systematic of the work, it is aimed for the reader to have knowledge about the systematic of Tajrīd, 'ilm-al-khilāf and Qudūrī's scientific accumulation.
