İnsan kaynakları yönetimi uygulamalarının Filistin Ahliya Üniversitesi'nde çalışanların performansına etkisi

Universities strive to employ the talented and well-trained teachers to fulfill all educational process requirements which will be reflected positively on the students' educational attainment. However, there is lack in studies that investigate the impact of HRM practices on employees' performance at universities' sector in Arab countries. The literature searches reveals that to date, very little research had been conducted on the impact of HRM practices at academic organizations in Palestine. The current research investigated mainly the impact of HRM practices on the employees' performance at Palestine Ahliya University in Palestine. To achieve the study goals, the researcher distributed survey questionnaire on 50 employees at Palestine Ahliya University. The researcher recovered 45 questionnaires to be analyzed using SPSS. Simple linear regression was implemented to investigate the impact of HRM practices on employees' performance. The study found that human resource management practices (recruitment, selection, training, motivation, and performance appraisal) impact have significant impact on employees' performance at Palestine Ahliya University. Also, the results showed that employees of Palestine Ahliya University had good level performance. The study recommends HR department to recruit and select new employees based on qualification and experience in the universities. In addition to that, applying the new trends of performance appraisal in universities in order to develop employees' performance and improving the learning institution. Finally, the study recommends universities to motivate employees and this makes them more effective. Keywords: HRMP, Employees' Performance, Academic Staff
