Özet (EN)

There is nothing in the universe that exists without a reason or purpose. Everything has been created for a purpose, for a goal. Creation, which is widely discussed in the Holy Quran, encompasses all creatures. The purpose of creation of man as a being is to know his creator, to serve him, and to fulfill the responsibilities he is obliged to. Man is intelligent and should know that he was created with wisdom and that this situation requires a creator. Man naturally tends to recognize the existence and unity of Allah. The Quran and the hadiths emphasize that the nature is inherent in man, independent of environmental influences. Allah Almighty has given man the will to freely choose good and evil. In the Quran, all people are commanded to turn to monotheism. However, man does not have the power to develop his innate inclination on his own. Therefore, he needs to have people, especially his family, who will teach him what is good and beautiful. Man is a social being and interacts with the society he lives in. Nature, family, circle of friends and other elements outside of these play an important role directly and indirectly in the formation of a person's character. The most perfectly created man is given certain roles in social life. For example; teacher, doctor, manager, head of state, administrator, civil servant, worker, rich, poor, educated, etc. The status, knowledge and opportunities given are for the test of man. The purpose of man's coming to this world is to serve Allah Almighty, the true owner of all property. The important elements that direct, shape, change and organize the personal and social life of a person in line with their own requirements are economy (welfare) and religion. Welfare has a serious effect on a person. It is a fact that it also affects the religious life of a person. Economic welfare, which has taken the first place in every period of humanity and has found a serious response in the life of a person, has also been the subject of the Quran with its positive and negative aspects. All situations and interactions of an individual, from the way they dress to their environment, from their expectations for the future to their worldview and from their relationships with people to the acceptance they receive in society, are related to their socio-economic level. The socio-economic level is determined by some characteristics such as income level, occupation, education level and social class. It is explained in the Quran that a person should not become arrogant with worldly goods and should not be spoiled by the opportunities and wealth they have, and should not forget Allah Almighty, who gives these blessings. In this respect, how social statuses are used from a religious perspective and how human beings evaluate these blessings when they have the means at their disposal, are examined in our study through some examples of polytheism in the Quran and some exemplary figures praised by Allah and the Prophet. Therefore, in this study, it is attempted to reveal the effect of a person's social status and prosperity on their turning to religion and the Quran. In our study, verses related to our topic were determined and as much as possible, primary sources were used. Their interpretations were used, and since our topic has a wide content, other existing scientific sources were also used. Literature review was conducted, published books and articles were researched, websites and digital data banks were scanned, and the resources reached were examined and evaluated within the study without disrupting the integrity of the topic.
