Investigating the interactions of organic fertilizers in agriculture using vermicompost and microbial fertilizers

This study investigated the interactions of phosphate solubilizing bacteria (Pseudomonas spp. ESU1531), nitrogen fixing bacteria (Bacillus subtilis ESU181) and vermicompost fertilizers on yield and macro-micro element content on Yayla 010 tomato, Iza wheat and Gina bean cultivars. This study was carried outin the Municipality of Bolu, Directorate of Parks and Gardens' glasshouse.Organic fertilizers were applied according to a randomized plot factorial design, eight treatment and threereplicates. Vermicompost was used at 5 % ratio and Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) fertilizers were used as 10 ml/107 rate organisms in each pot. After eight weeks, plant growth criteria's plant height, stem diameter, root length, spike length/width, awn length, grain numbers, flag leaf length/width, plantsheath length, second leaf length/width, coleoptiles length and number of tillers for Iza wheat; plant height, stem diameter, root length, leaf numbers, the biggest leaf length, the smallest leaf length, length of internodes for Yayla 010 tomato; plant height, stem diameter, root length, the biggest leaf length for Gina beanwere measured morphologically and macro (P, K, Ca, and Mg) and micro (Fe, Mn, Zn, and Cu) element contents of soil and plants and heavy metals in plants, fresh/dry weight of plants were analyzed.Variance analysis and Duncan multiple range test for each character and elementby SPSS program wasrun at 5 significance level for each crop. According to the results of the study organic fertilizers especially bacteria applications, significantly increased biological yield and nutrient contents in general except copper content in bean.
