Abstract (EN)

Psychological contract is an important phenomenon. It comprises of mutual expectations and promises between employee and the employer. When these promises and expectations are not met, it can affect badly employees' behavior such as low performance and motivation, intent to leave the job or silence in the workplace. On the other hand, organizational silence plays a decisive role in the point of being participant in the organization. This study's aim is to investigate the relationship between perceived psychological contract breaches and organizational silence. A survey is conducted to the health workers in the Kilis State Hospital. 300 doctors and nurses participated in the study. The result showed that there is not any statistical difference between demographic characteristics and perceived psychological contract breaches, but it detected relationship between age, marital status, education level, profession and organizational silence. When the relationship between two variables is examined, perceived psychological contract breaches have effect on organizational silence.
