An investigation of sports disabilities in football players

The aim of this study is to identify the injuries that occur in football players. In this context, can be reached in various regions of Turkey's 46 amateur teams are determined. The teams were contacted at regular intervals in the 2018-2019 season and the injuries that occurred were questioned. Information about the type, type, place of occurrence and duration of disability occurred. The injured athletes were waited until the end of 21 days from the injury and they were informed about the severity of the injury. The injuries that occurred occurred were transferred to the electronic medium by encoding and statistical evaluation was evaluated in SPSS 22 package program. The most injury to the players was seen in the foot-ankle followed by the knee and calf, respectively. The most common ankle injury is sprain, while knee and calf strain. Consequently, lower extremity studies should be given more importance to minimize injuries in football players and protective measures should be increased in the lower limbs.
