Risk management in public hospitals in terms of occupational health and safety

Occupational health and Safety; It is a system that aims to protect the employees against all kinds of dangers that may occur from inside and outside. Occupational health and safety understanding, which is the basis of the principle of protecting people's life and body integrity, is of great importance for both developed countries and developing countries. Looking at the global course, change and development are inevitable for all institutions, resulting in uncertainties and risks that firms face. The success of businesses depends to a large extent on their capacity to identify, prevent, mitigate and manage risks in the workplace. Therefore, risk management in enterprises provides an effective structure for these requirements. As is the case in all enterprises, risk management should be taken into consideration and measures should be taken against health services. In such health institutions where there is a thin line between life and death, it is necessary to insist on the issue of risk management in terms of both employees and patients. The issue of risk management, which became very important with the entry into force of the Occupational Health and Safety Law, has become inevitable for companies and private health institutions.
