Abstract (EN)
The present study investigates the effectiveness of virtual reality (VR) technology in occupational health and safety training. The main objective is to evaluate the potential of VR training in enhancing knowledge levels and increasing motivation in the field of occupational health and safety. The research focuses on a fire safety experiment. An experimental approach is employed in this research to collect data. Participants are randomly assigned to two groups, with one group receiving VR-based training and the other group receiving traditional presentation-based training. Both groups undergo pre-test and post-test assessments to measure their levels of occupational health and safety knowledge. Additionally, their motivation levels are also measured. The findings of the study indicate that participants who received VR training exhibit higher levels of knowledge and motivation in fire safety compared to those who received traditional presentation-based training. VR training provides participants with a realistic simulation experience, allowing them to interact with workplace hazards and understand risks. This facilitates more effective learning and increased motivation among participants. conclusion, this study demonstrates that VR training is an effective tool in occupational health and safety education. By providing a realistic experience, VR enhances knowledge levels and motivation among participants. However, further research is necessary to explore the effectiveness of VR in different occupational health and safety domains. The findings of this study contribute to the implementation and policy development in the field of occupational health and safety training.
