Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to examine the effect of sleep quality on job satisfaction and job performance. The sample of the study consists of healthcare professionals who voluntarily agree to participate in the study. Within the scope of the study, data were collected from a total of 300 people. Participants got 3.54±1.30 points from the job performance scale, which indicates that their job performance level is above the average. It was seen that the average score of the female participants from the job performance scale was significantly higher than the male participants. It was observed that the level of job performance differed significantly according to professional seniority (p<0.05). Participants got 4.28±0.80 points from the job satisfaction scale, which indicates that their job satisfaction level is high. Participants achieved a score of 3.83±2.32 for Pittsburgh sleep quality. Average values of 5 points or less indicate good sleep quality. In this context, it was observed that the sleep quality of the participants was good. Men's sleep quality was significantly worse than women's. It was observed that the sleep quality of those who have been on duty for 10 years and other groups, and those who have been on duty for 6-10 years, were significantly worse than the other groups. A negative and high level (r = -.855; p<0.001) relationship was found between sleep quality and work performance. Keywords: Sleep Quality, Job Performance, Job Satisfaction
