Dialects of the province of İskeçe (Xanthi) (Text analysis-texts-index)

In this study aimed at determining the dialect characteristics of the Turks living in the Greek town of Xanthi in Western Thrace; the historical and ethnic structure of Xanthi has been explained and the method used in the study is emphasized in the introduction. The study consists of three main parts; "Research - Texts - Index". In the research section; The material collected from the regions where dense Turkish population lived in Xanthi was examined in terms of phonetics, morphology and syntax. Alphabetical order and text sequence numbers have been taken into consideration in the modelling of phonetic and morphologic features. Data obtained in this section have been evaluated in the "Conclusion" section. Three dialect regions have been determined and this is made according to the uses of the present time affix.
