The view of Islam to other religions and their members in framework of approaching models to religions

This study entitled "The View of Islam to Other Religions and Their Members in Framework of Approaching Models to Religions", aims to examine the approach of Islam to other religions and their members. Because the approaches of religions to each other differ in some points. This study consists of an introduction and two parts. In the introduction part, the importance, subject, sources and method of the study are primarily emphasized. In the first chapter called titled "Islam as a Religion", according to the information in Islamic Resources, other religions in the Arabian peninsula during the emergence of Islam and the characteristics of Islam mentioned in the Qur'an were examined. In the second chapter titled, "Non-Muslims According to Islam", the concept and scope of non-Muslims in Islamic sources are discussed. Afterwards, the relations with non-Muslims were examined and the principles guiding these relations were examined. Finally, the conceptual classification of approach models in interreligious relations as religious exclusivism, religious pluralism and religious inclusivism was examined, and information was given about the similarities and differences between the reflections of these approaches in the West and the Islamic world. In addition, this study aims to discuss the existence of approaches that can be described as religious inclusivity in the Islamic tradition and what the main ideas are that are the source of this approach.
