Abstract (EN)
There have been transformations in the economic field in the world. These transformations brought new socio-political and psycho-social mobility to all countries of the world between the 19th and 20th centuries. There have been those who have been able to respond to this transformation, as well as those who have fallen short. The Ottoman Empire, considered one of the great states of the period, was also affected by this transformation and mobility. The Ottoman influence attracted more attention. The inability of the Ottoman Empire to respond effectively to this transformation and mobility has opened its political-scientific-religious spheres to discussion. Political activity resulted in the declaration of the 2nd Constitutional Monarchy. The scientific and religious fields, on the other hand, reached the point of gaining influence with the freedom of the press brought by the 2nd Constitutional Monarchy, which was a political achievement. As of 1908, many scientific and religious periodicals were published. The intellectuals have printed their thoughts and works. Our study deals with the contribution of thirty-two (32) periodicals published between 1908 and 1928 to the transformation and mobility experienced in the world. Periodicals are restricted to those publishing Islamic publications. In our study, the processes of gaining religious competence, attempts to politicise concepts and sect-faction studies of Islamic periodicals are examined. This study covers the socio-political and psycho-social aspects of periodicals in terms of the science of the History of Islamic Sects.
