Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relationship between the concept of organizational trust which has a significant place in the literature and plays a quite important role for organizations to sustain their activities in an efficient manner, and demographic features of employees is examined. The purpose of study is to test whether the perception of organizational trust differs in terms of demographic variables and at which level this differentiation is, according to demographic variables.In parallel with the questionnaire study among public and private sector employees performing activity in Ankara province, 440 valid questionnaires were included in evaluation and the obtained data were subject to statistical analyses. According to the results of statistical analysis, some of the hypotheses created in conformity with the research model were supported and some were not. While the variables of age and marital status do not cause differentiation in employees? perceptions of organizational trust, it was concluded that the variables of sex, education, status, seniority, and sector differentiated the employees? general perceptions of organizational trust, and perceptions of trust towards organization, trust towards managers, and trust towards colleagues, which are sub-dimensions of organizational trust.Key Words1.Trust2.Organizational Trust3.Demographic Characteristics4.Public Sector5.Private Sector
