Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the effect of station technique on the academic achievement and attitudes of the students in the teaching of the Circulatory System subject in the Systems in Our Body Unit in the 6th Grades.The research was carried out with 6th grade students studying at Egriçay Ercan Koşan Secondary School in Siverek district of Şanlıurfa in the first semester of 2021-2022 academic year. The study was carried out with a total of 35 students in two class. In the control group consisting of 19 students, the lesson was taught with the methods and techniques prescribed by the Science curriculum, while the lesson was taught by applying the station technique in the experimental group consisting of 16 students. Experimental group students were divided into 4 groups and studied at 4 different learning stations for 3 weeks, 4 lesson hours per week.In this study, a quasi-experimental research model, which is one of the quantitative methods, and a pretest - posttest unequalized quasi-experimental design with control group were used. Research validity developed by the researcher to obtain data achievement test consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions with reliability and reliability attitude scale was applied. The obtained daata were analyzed with SPSS 20 statistical program. According to the data analysis results, the academic achievement and attitude towards the course of the experimental group increased more than the control group. In line with this result, it is seen that the station technique increases academic success in the science course and creates a positive attitude towards the course.
