Özet (EN)

The concept of Occupational Health and Safety has been increasingly gaining importance in the world and in our country. This concept has become a social issue rather than being an individual matter between the employer and the employee, partly as a consequence of the development of labor law. This concept has implications on many issues ranging primarily from human health to social peace. The concept of Occupational Health and Safety has become increasingly important with the Industrial Revolution in the world and its historical development process has varied across societies. The concept of Occupational Health and Safety is still a developing field in our country. The link and relationship between the employer and the employee is a natural and necessary result of Labor Law. In this sense, the employer has a legal and constitutional duty to protect the employee. The employer must fulfill all obligations arising from occupational health and safety as per its protection duty and hence the obligation to employ occupational safety specialists. Otherwise, employers will have administrative, legal and criminal liabilities arising from the law, as well as conscientious responsibility due to accidents that may occur. In this context, the scope of this thesis consists of the Obligation of the Employer to Employ Occupational Safety Specialists in line with the legal regulations on Occupational Safety.
