Determining the organizational behavior profiles of female employees: A comparative analysis in the tourism sector

The aim of this study is to determine the behavioral profiles of female employees, who are an integral part of working life. In this context, the perception averages of the positive concepts of work motivation, happiness and organizational citizenship, which are the positive concepts based on organizational behavior, and the perception averages of psychological violence (mobbing), work stress and work-family conflict, which are also negative concepts that constitute organizational behavior, will be compared. The universe of the research is the tourism sector employees throughout Turkey, and for this purpose, tourism employees from 7 regions were reached. In addition, information was collected from both male and female employees for the data set. The questionnaire form created to collect data consists of 7 parts: Demographic expressions in the first part, work motivation scale consisting of 7 statements in the second part, happiness scale consisting of 29 statements in the third part, organizational citizenship scale consisting of 15 statements in the fourth part, psychological violence perception scale consisting of 5 statements in the fifth part, job stress level determination scale consisting of 10 statements in the sixth part, and the scale of work-family conflict in the seventh part. SPSS (The Statistical Packagefor Social Science) program was used for the analysis of the data and Pearson Correlation, t-test and oneway ANOVA test were performed during the analysis. As a result of the research, differences in organizational behavior variables of female employees were determined in terms of various demographic variables.
