Abstract (EN)

Women's socio-demographic characteristics that we prepared with the aim to determine the relationship between family planning they use works especially socio-demographic and cultural factors on how to generate data on the results of the family planning services to be reached, it aimed to evaluate the effects of the demographic structure for the prevention of pregnancy with effective methods. The descriptive research form the data for the study, Dr. Lutfi Kirdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of the participation of women aged 18-49 years was conducted. The data obtained from the sample group were obtained from 227 women who agreed to participate in the study. The obtained data SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) program using percentage, mean and were analyzed with ANOVA test. Reached the following conclusions with the data analysis: Women by the well-known methods of condoms (75.3%) than it is the method most commonly used IUD (30.3%) were determined to be. Women's Family Planning information about most medical staff (68.7%) were found to get through. In the 25-31 age range it has increased the frequency of use. Level of education, age of spouse, marriage years, the number of births and number of living children made increasing use of family planning methods has increased the rates (p <0.005).
