Abstract (EN)
The concept of responsibility emerges as a concept that starts with social responsibility and continues with corporate social responsibility and develops depending on the sensitivities of organizations to social situations. Very long years ago, companies have been seen as places of high profitability to satisfy business owners and partners. Social responsibilities are the second plan. Over time, it began to recognize that businesses are not only accountable to their partners or business owners, but that they also have social responsibilities. Today, various organizations from all sectors carry out a social responsibility project. Operators of Global Mobile Communications System, also known as GSM service providers, are either starting the social responsibility project or are involved in the existing project. Turkcell, a local operator and Vodafone, a global operator, are also frequently involved in social responsibility projects. Study; Turkey aimed to put forward their corporate social responsibility and social responsibility projects for women. In this context; The projects selected by Turkcell and Vodafone for women's social responsibility projects were compared with the selected corporate social responsibility models. Selected Turkcell projects; Economy Women's Power, Future Women, Women's Violence Zero Tolerance and Vodafone Projects; Women in Entrepreneurship First, Women's Movement in Technology, Red Light Projects. Models that projects will be subject to comparison are; Carroll's Four-Dimensional Corporate Social Responsibility Model,Wartick and Cochran's Corporate Social Responsibility Model and Wood's Corporate Social Responsibility Model. As a result; It is observed that Vodafone is more sensitive to this issue at the level of institutionalization in Turkcell and Vodafone's concept of social responsibility and conducts its projects through a foundation. In terms of Turkcell, there is no institutionalized foundation for social responsibility projects under one roof. Vodafone allocates resources from its budget for social responsibility projects, and Turkcell provides the vast majority of resources for social responsibility projects through Turkcell volunteers. Turkcell and Vodafone; to draw attention to the inequality of gender equality while conducting social responsibility projects related to the women who make up the issue of working, and to raise awareness in this regard. both companies have focused primarily on their economic responsibilities. They have fulfilled their legal and moral responsibilities and exhibited ethical behavior. In the context of volunteerism, it can not be said that it is a full-fledged volunteer.
