Özet (EN)
Businesses should continuously evaluate and improve the processes that lead them to successful or unsuccessful results in order to adapt to the changing conditions brought about by the technological and economic developments that change the way businesses offer their products and services, maintain their competitive advantage, and survive. To develop and improve themselves and their processes, businesses apply methods, approaches, techniques, and tools that can provide solutions to changing problems. One of the approaches adopted by businesses that aim to improve their business processes is the Kaizen approach, which is integrated with Japanese culture and understanding in social life, which is based on continuous improvement in every field with the participation of all employees, even if there are no apparent problems. The Kaizen approach aims to continuously improve with a process-oriented perspective, using problem-solving tools for the detection of problems and solution offers with the participation of employees from all levels. In this study, process and process improvement concepts are explained in detail and business process improvement stages are mentioned. The implementation phase and results of an enterprise that applies the Kaizen approach in business processes and improves them by Kaizen activities are examined.
