The effects of development agencies on regionaldevelopment: Siirt example

The aim of this thesis is that in today's economies where regional development has great importance, development agencies' influences, which are a very important regional development tool when used effectively, on regional development; in the general framework and in Siirt. In the study, entire method of deduction was followed first referring to the regional and regional development, then to development agencies from the tools of regional development, and finally to the Dicle Development Agency operating in Siirt. By analyzing the results obtained by the project, after the survey executives tried to determine the regional development effects of The Dicle Development Agency in Siirt Province. Since the agency has a history of about ten years, it has not been possible to determine its effects in terms of regional development.
