Abstract (EN)
As in every period, it is possible to see both literary and non-literary texts in the Ottoman Turkish period. The main reason for choosing this study is in terms of language studies the thought that literary texts should not only be examined but also works produced in other fields. In this way, it will be possible to see how the works written in different fields reflect the language characteristics of the period in which they were written and how much they contribute to the vocabulary of Turkish. Kanûnnames, which are the books in which the laws written by Ottoman sultans and statesmen on various subjects in order to find solutions to social problems or to maintain social order, are compiled and collected, are also texts written without any literary concerns in the classical period of Ottoman Turkish. Ottoman Turkish is the second period of Western Turkish after Old Oguz Turkish. During this period, Arabic and Persian words that settled in the language created great differences between the language of the people and the language of the intelligentsia. Codes are also important in terms of seeing to what extent the intellectuals use the language. Binary spellings, which are high in number in the texts, are also important in terms of being proof that the texts also contain the language features of the previous period and that there is not yet a complete standardization in terms of spelling. The study covers the codes in the 4th volume of Ahmet's book is named Osmanlı Kânûnnâmeleri ve Hukukî Tahlilleri "Kânûnî Devri Kânûnnâmeleri, 1. Kısım Merkezî ve Umumî Kânûnnâmeler. The study texts were obtained by making phonetic transcription of the readings in this work. The study consists of four parts: introduction, review, text and index. The fact that the Kanuni period was chosen as the period is because it had the most laws prepared among the sultans and therefore had the title of Kanuni. It is remarkable in terms of being a source for other studies to be done in this field by examining texts that are free from literary anxiety, of being revealing the appearance of the Ottoman palace language, of being contribution to Turkish vocabulary due to some expression and words used in the public dialect in the texts.
