Abstract (EN)

Chaos is a state that can show unexpected behavior in the deterministic conditions by a system. To generate chaos, in theory needs some parameters which are connected with structure of a system. In the universe, many things can show chaotic behavior. For Example; pollen production, population growth, economic changes, world ice field etc. may be chaotic. Besides, Chaos theory has a various important studies that may be shown in physics, chemistry, mathematics, communication, biology, physiology, sociology, economy, history, ecology, astronomy, hydraulics, atmospheric, international relations, solar systems and engineering. In this thesis, cardio-respiration synchronization were analyzed that were obtained from a white Wistar rat by Özbek et al. These signals were obtained with the permission of the Celal Bayar University School of Medicine Experimental Animal Research Ethics Committee of the protocol number on 2006/0025 by using a special animal contrivance. For this purpose, under anesthesia a rat capable of breathing was given a surgical operation in the trachea through the `y? cannula which was connected to an artificial breathing machine. By the help of tube that was placed in chest of the rat, the volume changed in the lungs during inspirasyon and eksprasyon and simultaneously the systole and diastole rates of the heart volume changed so that the airflow became one signal that had been obtained numerous times. These signals are known as transthoracic cardio-respiratory signals or thoracic pinomocardiyografik signals. Keywords: Cardio-Respiratory Synchronization, The concept of chaos, Strange Attractor
