Özet (EN)
In addition to its cultural heritage, Cappadocia is one of the most favorable regions for nature tourism with its natural beauties. The documentary film was made in the Cappadocia region where the first hot air ballooning activities took place in Turkey. Therefore, the importance of hot air ballooning in the region and the stages of a balloon ride will be conveyed to the viewers by including hot air balloon pilots and ground crew in the documentary film. Hot air balloon tours are organized by various agencies and conducted by their own staff and balloon pilots. The stages of balloon take-off, flight, and landing are monitored by the Civil Aviation Security Center. Additionally, balloon pilots and the ground crew facilitate coordination. Cappadocia valleys have different visual characteristics. The hot air balloon flights take place in a natural landscape between the valleys as the hot air balloon is caught in the atmospheric rivers formed due to meteorological conditions. Thus, the Cappadocia balloon tours provide an extraordinary experience for the tourists. This documentary film aims to convey the professional experiences of the participants to viewers by addressing the historical development and the importance of hot air balloon rides in the region.
