Abstract (EN)

One of the most important issues of the Stanislavski system is reality. It is important that everything that happens on stage is fully passed on to the audience and that the audience fully believes in the play. Because theater, which is among the arts related to showing, aims to recreate reality and to involve the audience in this creation. Otherwise, there will be a constant distance between the audience who does not believe in the play and those on the stage, and this distance will prevent the theater from reaching its goals. Stanislavski, who lived in the 19th century and established an important formation such as the "Moscow Art Theatre", is among the important names before the Great Russian Revolution. He attached great importance to reality in the theater and argued that the theater achieved success with the sense of reality it created in the audience. Stanislavski, who put forward the concept of psycho-realist acting and believes that reality will be shaped through certain concepts in character creation, is highly respected with the system acting he developed and is a pioneer in this field. In this thesis, the character creation process was discussed within the framework of Stanislavski system acting and how the actor recovered from the character at the end of this process was examined. In the thesis study, which was prepared by the literature review method, important sources in this field, especially Stanislavski's works, were compiled and the results were used to shape the research.
