Özet (EN)
The purpose of the study is to examine the development of the participation banking system in Turkey, and provide detailed information on the fund allocation methods used in participation banks and the status of participation banking in Turkey. It will be determined what funds are used in participation banks, which funds are used more effectively, and what methods are used when using the funds. Although participation banks are similar to traditional banks in terms of resource creation methods, they differ from other banks by eliminating interest and using profit. Especially when the density of the Muslim population is taken into consideration, the interest in participation banks in Turkey is increasing. This increase is very important for the sustainability of participation banks. For this reason, many traditional banks prefer participation banks when operating investment funds. The place and importance of participation banks in Turkey is included in this study, and the advantages and disadvantages of these banks are mentioned.
