Özet (EN)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the anxiety levels of families with children showing normal development in inclusive classes This research is survey model. This consists of the families whose students continue their education with normal development. in 30 primary schools (which have at least one inclusive student in classes at all grades from first class to fourth class) located in Izmir center in 2014-2015 academic year. This study was evaluated by 1063 data. In this study in order to measure the anxiety levels of families, 'Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory' and to gather information about the research variables related with families, 'Family Demographic Information Form' was used. All data were analyzed in a computer environment by using the statistics program. As a result of research, a significant difference was detected in anxiety levels of families having children with normal development status according to their education level, number of children and having inclusion student experience or have not. No differences were found in anxiety levels of families according to gender, age, attitudes towards to inclusive education, participation status to inclusive education. Help to reduce family anxiety levels, informing the families about inclusive students and inclusive programme is recommended.
