Abstract (EN)

In our country, with the increase of natural population growth and migration from rural to urban areas, the need for new housing areas, industrial areas, commercial areas and social technical infrastructure areas has arisen. This situation has led to increased in urban land use. The most important social technical infrastructure is the open and green spaces which are the common disciplines in city and regional planning and landscape architecture. This study, carried out in Ceyhan the district of Adana. In the study, the district was divided into eleven regions and studies were made on livability with surveys, based on the plans made from the past to the present. All these studies were evaluated and spatialized using thematic maps, recommendations were developed to increase the impact of open and green spaces on livability.
