Abstract (EN)
Turkmen in Kirkuk have many different methods of treating diseases through folk medicine that continues to this day. Health is the most important thing for a person. Where people devise many ways to treat types of diseases. In the ages when modern medicine was absent, people used to devise many kinds of treatment methods and medicines to treat humans, animals and plants. Where man has benefited from nature in this area. This situation is similar to the Turkmen of Kirkuk, as they inherited the methods of treating diseases from their ancient ancestors, and they continue to do so to this day. Where they use plant and animal medicines, as well as go to the clergy, as well as mineral water, visit some sacred shrines and shrines, as well as people who treat fractures, bone dislocations and other different and multiple matters in the treatment of diseases. We found through our research that despite the wealth of Turkmen Kirkuk in the profession of folk medicine, we did not find any research or work that includes all these matters in detail. The Turkish culture of the Turks living outside Anatolia is of great importance, and identifying and studying its important details is required. The goal of this work is this issue. And that folk medicine is not limited to humans only, But also veterinary medicine, as well as medicine in the field of plants, resulted from the accumulated experiences and experiences from the past to the present day. In this context, in this research we will deal with folk medicine for humans, animals and plants together.
