Poetics of the body in the context of my personal work

This study titled "Poetics of the Body in the Context of My Personal Works" aims to examine how the body has a potential in the art world as a form of expression of art and how this potential is realized by various artists in their works. The notion of "poetics" in the title means the art of poetry. Just like other art disciplines, poetics can be used as a tool that supports this emotional expression. Therefore, in the first main section of this study, which consists of 5 chapters, the works of artists who subvert the patriarchal system and social expectations, as well as issues such as the female body and social norms, are analyzed, and issues that include important concepts such as masculine-feminine, honor, pain and domination are strongly emphasized. In the second main heading, the traumatic experiences of growing up in traditional families and the body's reactions to these experiences are analyzed, and excerpts from works appropriate to the content of the subject are included. In the last main heading, the physical dimension of pain is discussed with case studies on how labor power can change the body and class differences.
