Determination of rural development potential of Konya city Taşkent location usi̇ng gzft analysis

The aim of this study is to determine the social and economic structure of Konya Province Taşkent District, to protect the strong aspects of the province in terms of rural development, to eliminate weaknesses, to use the opportunities for development, to turn into a strong direction and to put forth the threats that will negatively affect development Konya Province Taşkent District is to determine the rural development potential. In the study, primary and secondary data were used. A face-to-face interview-based survey study was conducted with 83 people according to the method of informal sampling from the official institutions, reeves and people in the district. According to the results of the general SWOT analysis of the province, the strengths of the village are; the renovation of the transportation network of the village, the construction of summer houses for tourism purposes, and the existence of natural water resources. Weak aspects of the district; agricultural industry facilities and industrial facilities are low and housing is inadequate. Opportunities of the Province; clean air and plenty of oxygen, and the construction of bridged road between Konya and Taşkent. According to the analysis, the elements threatening the school are; the decline in the general population and in particular the young population over the years, and the difficulties in marketing the agricultural products produced.
