Abstract (EN)

Social movements play a major role in the construction of political and social structures on the stage of history. It will not be wrong to say that these mass movements have become more important especially in the anti-democratic situations where freedom is suppressed, especially when the dominant powers try to suppress society, trying to marginalize certain segments of society. The so-called Arab Spring, which began in Tunisia and then in Egypt in 2010, was born as a social movement. The peoples of the Middle East have been ruled by dictators for years, remained oppressed and exploited, deprived of human rights, and lived a modern life away from corruption and inequality. It is a great historical event that a mass of people who have lived under such conditions for a long time attempted such a rebellion and destroyed the dictatorial regimes. However, even though the Arab Spring process created a spring atmosphere in the beginning, it did not have any heartwarming consequences for the people of the region. Middle East security before and after the Arab Spring will be analyzed within the framework of the Copenhagen School. In this way, the humanitarian destruction of the region and security problems will be analyzed. Keywords: Approaches of Copenhagen School, Sectoral Analyse, Securitization, Regional Security Complex, Event of Middle East Arab Spring
