The transcript and evaluation of "Hükema-yı Cihân ve Ta'lîm ve Terbiye Târihi" of Musa Kazım the Governor of Kozan

The Philosophers of The World and The History of Training and Education (Hükemâ-yı Cihân ve Ta'lîm ve Terbiye Târihi) written by Kozan Governor Musa Kazım Efendi is an important work on the history of pedegogy. In this work, we are studying on, the history of education and training in India, pre-Islamic Iran, Ancient Greece and Europe is explained and important personalities who contributed to pedegogy are discussed. In the first chapter of the work, under the title of "Ancient and Medieval Education ant Training", the first times of humanity, the characteristics of savage tribes and the educational characteristics of Chiristian spirtual societies in India, Iran, Greece, Rome and Mediveal Europe are explained. In the second chapter philosophers, Christian religious groups and educational organizations that shape the understanding of education in the sixteenth century are described under "The Title of The New age of Educadion and Training". In the third chapter, the views of the philosophers of the period after the New Age on education and training are mentioned. In the fourth chapter, twelve figures from the eighteenth century philosophers and pedagogues, the French Revolution and the developments in the field of education after the revolution are mentioned. In the fifth chapter of the book titled as "Additional", the education systems of France, Englant, Italy and Russia, which the author refers to as civilized countries, are discussed. This research consists of theree parts. In the first part, the life and works of Musa Kazım are explained, in the second part, the work called The Philosophers of The World and The History of Training and Education (Hükema-yı Cihân ve Ta'lîm ve Terbiye Târihi) is evaluated and in the third part, the transcription of this work is given.
