Forensic Sciences is a bundle of sciences that deals with the discovery of material evidence in the proof of crime, the proof of the criminal or the victim. While revealing the material truth, he receives support from various branches of science. One of the branches of science it receives support from is Criminal (Forensic) Anthropology. Anthropology, which literally means "Human Science", is a branch of science that conducts biological, morphological, genetic, evolutionary and pathological research on human communities living in present and past periods. Since these researches have a very wide field of study, Anthropology is divided into various fields within itself. Physical Anthropology (including other sub-disciplines) is also divided into different sub-branches according to the field of study. One of them is Criminal (Forensic) Anthropology, which forms the backbone of the study. Criminal (Forensic) Anthropology, which looks at forensic events from a different perspective, generally aims to find criminal elements on skeletal material. These studies carried out in Criminal (Forensic) Anthropology laboratories are based on different identification methods. Anthropological studies can be defined as the forensic use of Physical Anthropology, Forensic Osteology and Paleoanthropological methods in the resolution of forensic cases. When we look at the literature, the contribution of Criminal (Forensic) Anthropology to Forensic Sciences has not been gathered under a single heading and has not been discussed. The contribution of Criminal (Forensic) Anthropology to Forensic Sciences and the techniques and methods performed on the skeleton for this purpose will have an important place in the study. It has been proven by the studies that age estimation and sex determination studies give accuracy, even at different rates, by researchers. In Criminal (Forensic) Anthropology, in age and gender studies, individual characteristics whose accuracy does not fall below 70% can be determined from a single bone. The highest rate is; 100% if the skeletal material is complete. As a result: Criminal (Forensic) Anthropology identification techniques include techniques and methods that are mandatory, not alternative, in cases where serious fragmentation, burning or mixing of the human body occurs, in mass disasters, in forensic cases where unidentified human remains are present.
