Evaluation of the readings of Kufi and Basri recital imams according to the numerical schools of Kufa and Basra

Due to the revelation of the Quran in Arabic, the science of recitation is directly related to the Arabic language and rhetoric. Arabic language scholars have used recitations as evidence in their works since the early periods and have built some of their general principles on them. This study has been prepared to reveal the approaches of the schools to recitations through the evaluation of the recitations of the Kufi and Basri recitation imams according to the Kufa and Basra grammar schools. The study consists of three introductions and a conclusion. The purpose, importance, method and sources of the research are mentioned in the introduction. In the first section, the methods of the recitation imams of Kufi and Basri and the evaluations of the grammar schools on these narrations are discussed. First of all, the methodological differences narrated by these recitation imams and narrators are given under their own names. Then, the evaluations of the grammar schools of Kufa and Basra regarding these methodological differences are given. In the Second Chapter, the evaluations of the Basra and Kufa schools regarding the recitation styles of Farş al-huruf are discussed. These evaluations are given first under the headings related to the differences in words, and then through the individual opinions of the school representatives. In the third section, the approaches of the Kufa and Basra grammar schools to recitations were determined and the two schools were compared in terms of their approaches to recitations. Our study was completed with the conclusion section where the data we obtained were evaluated.
