Abstract (EN)
Change and continuity have been the constant principles of life and cultures since human existence. Despite the change and continuity are perceived as opposite concepts, continuity takes place through change. In the world where the change is regarded as a basic phenomenon, ensuring continuity of change depends on controlling the nature and the speed of change. Looking for ephemeral and instant impact which is described the quantitative values created by rapid change, causes loss of depth. Yet the depth aimed at creating the original one includes consideration of past, present and future values through pluralist approach. Embracing the integrated approach, which enriches the lives of man and society and diversifies their experiences through being constituted by diachronic and synchronic unity for designing physical environment is important to create unique, creative spaces carrying people into the physical and psychological satisfaction.The biggest indicators of these challenging as well as the provocatively creative environments, which arised from the unity of old and new, can be experienced via buildings devoted to cultural heritage and adapted to museum function through contemporary approach during the historical period. Thus museums attempting to maintain their existence as the environments of experience in the world today, consist of this study?s sample.
