Abstract (EN)

She is the only woman whose life is described in the Quran of Mary. God draws attention with his call to "…Momentarize Mary in the Book..." and includes details that can be described as details of different periods of her life. In the Quran; His devotion, his acceptance in the temple, his encounter with the angel, his conception of Jesus, his birth, his passing before his tribe with his child are portrayed in detail. Especially the details of the moment of birth are an emphasis on the humanity of Mary and constitute an answer to the Catholic doctrine that will emerge about herself and the nature of her son and continue this traditional teaching today. It also has a special position among the female characters who have a place in the Quran. She is the only woman who has earned the privilege of mentioning Mary by name. The mention of a prophet (Jesus), who is also referred to as a word from God, by the name of his mother shows that Mary was chosen. Almost everyone agrees on his chastity, patience, submission, and being an exemplary servant wherever the name of Mary is mentioned. However, no inference has been made to show the possible reasons for her to be the only female character mentioned in the Quran. From this point of view, our study aims at reading the life, moral virtues and the important duty undertaken by Mary, this special personality, through the verses of the Quran.
